Hi, my name is Bridget, and I am probably what you would call an 'emerging writer'.
Emerging on three fronts:
1/ The title of my blog - 'Write[Text]Edit' relates to my business interest in becoming an editor and proofreader
2/ Creative writing
3/ Writing for the Internet
I have had some minor success on the creative side of things, with some of my poetry published a couple of years ago. Last year I wrote my first full length manuscript, a work of fiction set in Victorian London. I am currently working on some re-writes for the manuscript and will shortly be sending it off to a publisher and potential agent (and then crossing my fingers!).
With regard writing for the Net, I am a registered writer with Suite 101, where you get paid for writing articles. Only trouble is I am not too sure what to write about - perhaps the '23 Things' concept might be a good start.
This is the first time I have ever blogged, and yet the world of the modern writer is very much about being online. I look forward to seeing how this might grow and expand.
